Coaching & Consulting for Young Adults
The years between 17 and 35 are a lot to navigate under any circumstances. Add ADHD, autism, AuDHD, a learning difference, or other challenges into the mix, and what feels manageable for peers can feel like an impossible stretch. Launching into the world, building independence, making decisions, figuring out who you are and what you want, all of it takes longer when you’re working against a nervous system that doesn’t always cooperate.
That’s not a character flaw. It’s just reality. And it’s something that can be worked with, thoughtfully and with the right support.
Our coaching for young adults is built around the person in front of us, not a program, not a curriculum, not a generic set of life skills. It’s a real relationship with someone who has been there herself, and who genuinely believes in the potential of every young adult she works with.
Meet Jana
Jana is our coach for young adults. Her path to this work is personal. She knows what it feels like to watch someone she loves lose their way, and she has channeled that experience into coaching young adults toward their own potential.
She works with young adults ages 17-35 who have ADHD, AuDHD, ASD, learning differences, or who are simply struggling to find their footing in a world that moves fast and doesn’t always make room for the way they think.
Who This Is For
Coaching with Jana tends to be a good fit for young adults who are:
Struggling to launch into independence after high school or college
Feeling stuck, unsure of direction, or overwhelmed by everyday decisions
Working on life skills, executive function, or self-management
Navigating a gap year, PG year, or transition between settings
In need of someone steady and consistent to think alongside them
Looking for support that isn’t therapy, but that takes them seriously as a whole person
It is also a resource for parents who can see their young adult struggling but aren’t sure how to help, and who need a trained, trusted person in their child’s corner.
What Coaching Looks Like
Coaching with Jana is individualized, conversational, and focused on what matters to the young adult, not just what matters to the adults around them. Sessions are built around goals the young adult identifies, with Jana holding the structure and providing the support to make real progress possible.
Areas young adults commonly work on include:
- Launching to independence and adulting skills
- Moving into employment
- Life decisions and next steps
- Personal growth and self-understanding
- Building confidence and a sense of direction
- Managing the everyday demands of life more effectively
Why This Kind of Support Matters
Most young adults with ADHD, ASD, or learning differences are lagging behind peers in some way, not because they aren’t capable, but because the world moves at a pace that doesn’t always work for them. A coaching relationship gives them a consistent, non-judgmental presence to help them build momentum at their own pace.
Jana is both a credentialed coach and someone who has lived close to these challenges. That combination matters. It means your young adult is working with someone who understands the terrain, not just theoretically, but from real experience.
